Selection and use of cursebook materials

During this unit I learned how  important is  a coursebook. I consider it very useful because a coursebook  depend how teachers teach the language skills to students and the effectiveness of the course. First, the coursebook is all the material that teacher use in the classroom, that is   why is essential to know which materials we are going to use at the moment of giving classes to different levels. A coursebook package have to include the student´s book, with a workbook or activity book to reinforce the lesson at home and the teacher´s book in which include the typescript, audio script or transcript, CD-ROM. However, is necessary to know that the material we are going to use in class has to be very attractive to students, not only  it needs to be visual, but also with dynamic activities in which students get the interest to learn by using the book. As a conclusion, I consider that this knowledge would be useful in class by choosing materials that allow students to interact each other and to have a clear way of the class.
